Terms of use

The short rules for using BRIDGE. It is a student research project, so they are brief and plain.
What BRIDGE is
BRIDGE is a free research tool built by team P-046 in the AI20K Build Phase Cohort 4. It finds and reads papers for a literature review, and checks whether the repository of a paper has what is needed to reproduce it. It is a student project, not a company or a commercial service.
Check the results yourself
BRIDGE is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. It can miss relevant papers, summarise a paper wrongly or misread a repository. Every claim in a review comes with a source so that you can check it. You are responsible for opening the sources, checking the citations and the results, and for what you do with them, before you rely on them or publish them.
A review is a starting point, not a finished literature review. A repository check says what is missing in the repository, not whether the code will run correctly. To the extent the law allows, the team is not liable for any loss that comes from using BRIDGE.
Your account
Use your own account and keep it secure. You are responsible for what is done with it. Tell us on the contact page if you think someone else is using it.
Your content
You keep the rights to what you type or upload. You allow BRIDGE to process it, which includes sending it to the services named in the privacy policy, and to show the results to you.
Reviews can be opened by anyone who has the link, as the privacy policy explains. Do not put into one anything you do not want others to read. Upload only content you have the right to share. The papers BRIDGE shows remain the work of their authors and publishers.
Acceptable use
Please do not do any of these:
break the law or the rights of others with BRIDGE
try to break the service, overload it, or get around its limits, including the credit and rate limits
reach the private work or the account of another person
send automated or bulk requests beyond normal use, or scrape the site
upload malware, or content you have no right to share
We may limit or close an account that does.
Limits and credits
Each account has a daily allowance of credits, and the whole service has a daily spending limit, so a request can be refused when a limit is reached. These limits may change.
Changes to the service
BRIDGE may change, pause or stop at any time, for example when the course ends. While it runs, you can export your reviews and drafts. Keep a copy of anything you need.
Other services
Sign-in through Clerk and Google, and the sources BRIDGE links to, have their own terms. Those terms apply to your use of them.
Contact and changes
Questions about these terms: the contact page, or Trần Đại Nhân at nhantd.dev@gmail.com.
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. If you keep using BRIDGE after that, you accept the new terms.
